I have lived in Albania for around 2 years and can officially say that it may be in the top 3 cheap European destinations. My rent for 1 month is €150, YES 150!

Albania is not only affordable for tourists, but it also offers something truly special. Its culture is rich and many of the old traditions are still alive and well today.

That might be because the country was a communist state for 40 years, so it was cut off from the outside.

These days it’s becoming one of Europe’s best countries to visit and tourism is booming!

It’s possibly the cheapest European destination, especially outside of peak season, and it’s definitely my favorite!

Coffee is the drink of choice in Kosovo, there are so many coffee shops. In fact, having a coffee should be a sport here.
