I never have thought of doing a river cruise before. This sounds so much better than being on a boat in the middle of the ocean with the same views over and over even for 3 or 4 days. How big are the river boats? I noticed some are almost a month long. I would feel like for a cruise that long the boat would need to be spacious.

River cruising is a great way to explore Europe at a leisurely pace. I’ve done Eastern Europe and the Danube and would love to go river cruising in France. Russia is another country that is good to explore by river.

Some great ones here. Personally, I’m happy cruising the French waterways (have a deep passion for France) and the cruise I did on the Danube was awesome as well. I’d probably add the Rhine to this also.

I’ve heard such great things about river cruises. Hope to make one someday. The one along the Danube sounds interesting. A part of Europe I haven’t been to yet.

Wow, these all look incredible! I would like the Black Sea to Switzerland best, I think. I did a cruise around the Black Sea in the past and it was my favorite to date. What a fun and economical way to explore those areas, too.

I’ve never attended a cruise but have always wanted too. I really love the idea of a mystery cruise, I just hope whatever the money is paid it’s worth it.
