The Perks of Beachside Camping in NSW

The Perks of Beachside Camping in NSW (4)

Heading to the beach and then having to make the long drive back home after a fun day at the beach can be very disheartening. Don’t you sometimes wish you could just stay in that paradise just a little longer without having to head back home or back to your hotel to spend the night. Staying in a hotel while on a beachside holiday does have its luxurious benefits of comfort, but what makes renting a car or caravan and staying at these beachside camping holiday parks so much more worth it? Here are some of the great perks of doing beachside camping in New South Wales, Australia.

Activities with convenience

When you’re already that close to the beach, you’ll barely have to lift a finger to head out to watch the early sunrise, and you won’t have to worry about driving back in the dark after sunset too! Imagine having the sunrise right outside your doorstep. Now that’s convenient! Werri Beach Holiday Park located in Gerringong is one of the many places that allow you to stay right on the beach, which is perfect for watching the sunrise and sunset. Having everything you need with you is also great for when you want to go fishing, surfing, bushwalking and boating.

Freedom to explore in your own time and own pace

Without the need to think about how early you have to leave because you need to get back to your faraway accommodation, you have much more time to do what you want. Also, when you don’t have to rely on things such as a bus or someone else driving, everything about this beachside camping trip is completely under your control. You’re the one moving your home around and all your stuff is with you. You wouldn’t have to worry about so many things.

Nature is right on your doorstep

Camping by the beachside is a special experience as it brings you closer to nature. You can bring out the good ol’ grill and barbeque some snags in a natural setting, and you can spend your night on the sand watching the stars. Perhaps you could even spot some dolphins hanging around the beaches of Nelson Bay. At holiday parks such as Toowoon Bay Holiday Park, you’ll also get the beach right in front of you. If you head to the South Coast of NSW, you’ll find that it is also a perfect area for caravanning and beachside camping due to its extremely clean beaches and clear blue waters.

Great amenities at holiday parks

When you stay at a holiday park, there is usually access to bbqs, cooking facilities, showers, laundry and swimming pools, catering to all your needs that a hotel would provide. Being close to main attractions such as beaches and national parks, the start and end of your day will be a piece of cake.

If you believe beachside camping with a caravan just isn’t your thing, maybe you could try something a little more luxurious known as glamping!
