These days, cruises needn’t cost more than an average holiday would.  For many people it might once have seemed a distant unaffordable dream.  However, these days this is not the case with so many travel companies offering amazing deals.  A huge bonus with this kind of holiday is that it takes the stress out of finding accommodation, places to eat and activities to do, which can put some people off.  They are great options for anyone wanting to relax and enjoy their trip rather than worrying about sorting all the details out, just one booking and your whole holiday is reserved and ready to go!

Cruising has a range of benefits which can be very appealing for families, couples and retirees.  For a start all of the food is included, there’s entertainment day and night including Broadway shows,  a Jazz & blues club and Piano bar,  a Fitness club, Rock climbing walls, a Ropes course, Mini golf, a Sports court, an Aqua park, Pools, Hot tubs and a Casino – there is also a Youth Club which means your kids will never get bored, and you can have some proper time out too!

Some of the things you don’t have to worry about when booking a cruise package would be flights (International and domestic), Airport transfers, looking for clean and reputable accommodation, no lugging your suitcase around from place to place, finding delicious and healthy food, finding activities and things for the kids to do,  transport around the city (taxis, buses, trains) and no check out times!

Many beautiful and exclusive destinations are now available to cruise to.  Norwegian Cruise Line offer many affordable holidays including:

one day I’d like to cruise with Royal Caribbean International around the Caribic area 🙂 I have few friends who worked on these ships in the past as the professional figure skaters. I was tempting to do the same but then decided to pursue my corporate career, instead of never ending parties on the ships. I am not a party girl at all. 😀 Skating however, I miss that a bit.

As you say, when you think about all the inclusions of a cruise, it can actually work out to be a pretty good deal, sometimes even more so than a traditional land based trip. And it’s nice to have paid for everything beforehand so you don’t have to worry about it once you’re there!
